I am a bit of a Star Wars fan, especially the Jedi (Duh.) but there's one that sticks out me now that we have to skills: A lightsaber is essentially a fancy arc-welder. In reality it should be blindly bright, but in context it should at least cast light on it's surroundings.

Inspired by a character from the (now non-existent) Old Republic history.
